Manager Computing and Information Technology
Bill is a professional staff member working in the Department of Animal Biosciences, University of Guelph with responsibility for the departmental computing environment and associated human resources. My goal is to provide the best possible information technology infrastructure in support of research, teaching, and technology transfer for faculty, staff, students, and other members of our department. I have always been passionate about computers and computer programming especially designing and developing efficient solutions to mathematical scientific problems or problems involving large amounts of data. In the dim and distant past we used FORTRAN or C. They are both still with us today but now we also have an incredible wealth of additional tools available at our fingertips for constructing all sorts of applications and solutions.
